VSA Highlights, Sept. 20

  • VSA will push for representation on the Board of Trustees’ Student Academic Affairs and Campus Master Planning committees. VSA Executives and Ranking Members would possibly be able to sit on those committees and have decision-making power.
  • The President announced a new food option, Savory Saturdays, to complement Munchie Mondays and Tasty Tuesdays. This will likely begin in about three weeks, and will include various vendors from Arlington and Poughkeepsie, including Twisted Soul and others.
  • The President announced the release of two Bills of Rights. One will include a more accessible version of Vassar College’s policies and regulations; the other will be a better-organized version of VSA’s current Bill of Rights. No new rights will be added.
