Statement: “Following a conference championship and one of the best seasons in Vassar Men’s Soccer history, there were high expectations set by the league and ourselves for this year. Under Coach Jonathon Hood and Coach Andrew Mpasiakos, we were able to return to the conference final and have another great season. For me, this year offered additional meaning with it being my final season in the program. I can confidently say that I, along with my fellow seniors, Patrick Gale, Bevan Howard, Diego Pastor-Valverde, and Otis Wildman, are very proud of the program we have been a part of these last 4 years and the impact we have been able to make. The VCMS group is a special one and I am really excited to watch the team continue succeeding in the years to come. The 2025 season was a phenomenal year, but more importantly, my entire Vassar athletic experience has surpassed my expectations and I will forever be grateful for Vassar Men’s soccer.”

Statement: “This year, Vassar’s women’s cross country and track and field programs had exceptionally successful seasons. Across all three seasons, our team’s commitment to training and conditioning led to some of the best results in program history, including a third consecutive Liberty League title in cross country, our highest-ever team score at the NCAA Cross Country Championships, and a third-place finish at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships. Now, my teammates Jahmilia Dennis, Amanda Hanrahan, and I are preparing to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where we’re proud to represent Vassar College and our entire team.”

Year: Junior

Team: Men’s volleyball

Position: Middle blocker

Hometown: Pennington, NJ

Statement: “This was a roller coaster of a season. We started off with some pretty big blows with injuries and bad losses, but were able to bounce back and learn a lot of valuable lessons. I learned a lot about being a leader which was a new role for me this year. I experienced a lot of individual success but I would be nowhere without my teammates. Going into my senior year, I know I can translate this into team success and compete for the natty chip.”
